Dr. Iyengar is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. With a background in bio-engineering and specialized training in minimally-invasive orthopedic techniques, he brings an evidence-based approach to patient care. Renowned as “a Gentleman and a Scholar", his unique blend of empathy and personalized care has made him an award-winning choice of patients as well as local doctors. Never one to rush into surgery, he takes the time to listen and incorporate holistic options into his treatment plan for each patient.

PERSONAL INTERESTS
When not involved with patient care, Dr. Iyengar focuses on spending quality time with his family. Always on the move, he is active in bicycling, swimming, snowboarding and yoga. He is also an avid Laker fan and enjoys watching basketball. Aside from sports, he is passionate about history and travel, and is proud to have visited over 27 countries in all 7 continents (including Antarctica!) as part of eco-tourism, learning and service experiences.
